Lay is back in his group's album with his members.
Lay has been promoting in China with his own solo activities and recently have also made a successful debut in the US too after his last participation in his group's release back in 2016 for their winter album 'For Life.' Since then, EXO has been promoting as 8 over the releases that happened in 2017 namely, 'Kokobop,' 'Power' and 'Universe.'

Therefore, with the announcement that Lay will be participating in EXO's most recent release with 'Tempo,' EXOLs were in pools of tears of joy. However, Lay's participation was only in the music videos and the Chinese version of the song with no sign of Lay in the physical album at all. The company then announced the release of a special limited edition version of 'Don't Mess Up My Tempo' for its 'Vivace' version where fans are finally able to see Lay in the physical album and more of his pictures for this comeback.
